The simplicity of Rosecom Hosted IPT surprises most people. IP hardphones can simply plug into your network and away you go! Or, even easier, just install the PC Client which sets up an IP phone on your PC and plug in a headset with mic. There are a few rules to follow to ensure toll quality calls; however, we can carry out checks to see whether your existing LAN switches will cope or whether new ones need to be installed. This is often a good excuse to improve LAN infrastructure at the same time as upgrading telephony. Note that when both PC and telephone share a single switch port, you are effectively combining what would previously have been two separate upgrades into one simple solution.

 

Externally, a link is required to our Nortel/Genband C20 switch which connects you to the public network as well as other users in your organisation. This can replace existing ISDN lines, usually at a lower cost. Your numbers are then ported to our secure exchange environment.
